Mack's Bar and Grill

Mack is a gem and this neighborhood is damn lucky to have him. This man will know your name and drink order after meeting you one time. His staff are kind, the food is good, and he always asks about my family and clearly genuinely cares. A rare things these days. Hoping for the success of this business for many years to come

This has become my weekend treat. The break menu is fantastic. With the mix of great food and value prices. The service is great with the personal touch of remembering us from our visit last week. My recommendation is to try this hidden jewel and treat yourself to a great breakfast. If you want they will even make your meal to order.

My wife and I went there after work this evening. It was my first time and her second. The food was delicious. I had their BBQ Burger. It was superb. The onion rings that I got with it were excellent. She got chicken wings and onion rings as well. She loved those tonight as well as the first time she had them. The sports bar was in a different room, so the restaurant was not as busy. Still, the atmosphere was nice. The service was first rate. Our server, David was very pleasant. The tasty food has to be credited to Regina, the cook. The owner was Mac. He was welcoming. We enjoyed our meal and plan to go there again. It is worth the trip. We have gone several times since this original review. The food has always been superb.

3 stars because I felt the owner could have been nicer. I visited here with my family. Pretty sure we spent well over $200. We ordered lots of food and had drinks. The wings and pizza are great. The server we had was also nice. The owner just seemed a bit rude at times. Very uptight about the gaming systems and intially how he greeted us. Cool place but I can take it or leave it. Nice environment otherwise.

Mack's is like "friends" a place where everybody know your name. That's the feeling you get but it can get crowded and the service varies depending on who you get but the overall vibe is excellents. I love to shoot pool and the table are 7.5 out of 10. but with good roll. Food is always good and hot, and it have a restaurant side, a sports bar side and a cigar lounge that is quaint and nice for lounging and enjoying a stogie. This is a great hidden location in CWE area.

Went here on a Thursday afternoon for lunch. Met Mack from Mack’s Bar & Grill. Seemed like a nice and humble man. Got the Mack’s BBQ Burger with fries. My family all went with the wings and fries. I just had to be different. Lol They seem to really like the wings. I’ll have to try them next time. Place was clean and staff was friendly. Service was ok. Things were a little hectic (some people got food right away and others didn’t) but to be fair my party was rather large. I’ll return another day to give Mack’s a chance at that 5th star ⭐.

This place was AMAZING! The best cole slaw I've ever had, the Friday night Catfish was delicious, and the owner is the epitome of welcoming neighborhood owner. I cannot wait to come back the next time I'm in St. Louis!
